AFSA and VFW Cadet Awards

Nominations for cadet awards are due to 2 outside agencies by 15 April. Every cadet and composite unit is eligible to submit nominations for the following awards:

 

Air Force Sergeants Association Cadet NCO of the year

  •  One cadet NCO eligible for award in each unit per year
  •  Unit commander submits selection to Air Force Sergeants Association by 15 April
  •  See details in CAPR 39-3

 

 

 

VFW LogoVeterans of Foreign Wars Cadet Awards

  • One Cadet Officer and one Cadet NCO in each unit are eligible each year
  • Previous winners are not eligible for multiple awards
  • Unit commander submits CAPF 120 nomination to VFW by 15 April
  • See details in CAPR 39-3
